“If you are lucky enough to have lived in Paris as a young man, then wherever you go for the rest of your life it stays with you, for Paris is a moveable feast.” – Ernest Hemingway
Paris is probably the most magical place in the world, sorry Disney. There is nothing better than waking up in Paris, walking outside, and instantly smelling the tantalizing aroma of freshly baked baguettes, croissants, and freshly made coffee. I wish every day that I could somehow bottle up that smell and capture it the way I can capture a picture. But I guess that’s what makes the moment magical, it must be lived in the present and can only be experienced in Paris.

I was lucky enough to live in Paris while studying abroad in University during the Spring semester and that time of my life stayed with me forever. I remember the city was extra magical with nature blooming. While I’ve gone to Paris again after that, I haven’t gone back in the Spring *yet*. I went back to experience winter and Christmas in Paris recently and while of course I wore cute outfits, during Winter, especially on really cold days, the coat is basically the outfit ☹️. I had a very different style during University, so I need to go back in the Spring and wear my most favorite outfits.

If you read my Spring in Japan issue, you know that when I travel, I like to immerse myself in the style of the city I’m going to. However, I only own one pair of jeans, so that chic Parisian outfit will maybe only show up once 🤣.
Enough chatting let’s talk about what I would wear in Paris in the Spring.
Eloise dress
First, let’s start with the dress that I would be most excited to wear in Paris and that is the Eloise dress from Flossy by Freddy. It’s the most perfectly regal dress (as it should be since it is part of the Bridgerton collection). Aside from it being the perfect dress, it’s long sleeved and the material is thick enough that it is perfect for the Spring chilly breeze.

I would wear this to the most regal places in Paris. First, there is nothing more regal than the Palace of Versailles, for obvious reasons of course. How cute would this dress be in the Palace halls or promenading around the exquisite Gardens of Versailles with a regal parasol to shade you from the sun?
While a full day can be spent at the Palace of Versailles, another perfect place to wear this dress is at Nina’s Marie Antoinette. If you haven’t heard of it, it’s a Marie Antoinette inspired café in Paris with the most beautiful pink, gold, and white decorations and the most royal selection of tea, so I can’t think of a better dress for this Café.

Another perfect place for this dress is brunch at Ladurée. Ladurée is the widely known French café that sells the iconic macaron. It also has a very regal theme, perfect for a regal dress.

While there are so many places where to wear this dress, of course I must include museums (other than the Palace). The Louvre, which everyone probably knows about, has many baroque style rooms displayed and beautiful art. Another, probably lesser-known museum is the Musée Jacquemart-André. This museum was a town house turned into a museum with art from the 15th century to the 18th century and furniture from the Louis XV and Louis XVI periods. Pictures here in the Eloise dress would just be divine.
The Coco set
The next perfect outfit for Paris in Spring is another Flossy outfit: the Coco set (Flossy is my favorite brand if you can’t tell). I love this outfit so much for Spring because it can be layered with a long sleeve shirt underneath if it’s a chilly day. We can also make a couple of outfits from this set if we wear a plain white top with the Coco skirt or plain shorts with the Coco top. Our whole Paris wardrobe can be set.
Just imagine how beautiful our pictures would be with the pink of the Coco outfit with the beautiful Parisian architect! So, I would just have a photoshoot around the city finding the most beautiful buildings in this set. Additionally, this set and Café de Flore are a MUST!!

Angelina dress

Is it too much to wear a dress with Parisian architecture in Paris? Because French architecture is my favorite thing, I would say no but you can make your own opinion on that. This dress, also by Flossy by Freddy is perfect to feel like a Parisian princess (Anastasia!!!) on a warmer Spring day. Just look at the neckline and sleeves of the dress, wow!
I would wear this dress to grab a coffee at Café Kitsune, take a stroll in the Jardin des Tulieries and Palais Royal, take pictures at the Pont Alexandre III, and then get a hot chocolate or tea at Angelina! (These places are all close to each other, so this may be a perfect day!)

Tweed dress
Now we need an outfit for shopping at Champs-Élysées!! To shop at Champs-Élysées, we need the PERFECT chic outfit. In Paris, there is nothing chicer than a tweed dress (Chanel, obviously). In Spring, we can also layer a long sleeve shirt with a bow underneath if we need a little extra warmth. After a long day of shopping, we will obviously need to rest our feet, so we can get a sweet treat at Ladurée on the Champs-Élysées and then go watch the sunset at the top of the Arc de Triomphe. This outfit is perfect for all these activities.

The Odd Muse white mini dress
Another dress that I cannot wait to wear in Paris is the Ultimate Muse Structured Mini Dress from OddMuse! Oh my, this dress is just perfection for Paris. As you may have noticed, we are missing a famous place to visit in Paris. I mean the famous place to visit in Paris. I don’t care how many times I go to Paris, the Eiffel Tower will ALWAYS be on my list. Can’t you just picture the white dress in front of the tower? I can and it is unbelievable.

My favorite places to see the Eiffel Tower and take pictures are: of course the Parc du Cham de Mars, the Jardins du Trocadero and Trocadero, Avenue de Camoens, Rue de l’université, and Rue de Bueno-Ayres.

I would also love to wear this dress to the Jardin du Luxenbourg.
My white mini is screaming at me to take it to Paris.
Bonus: Cosette dress & Tallulah dress
I wanted to add a little bonus outfit for anyone wanting to go to the Ritz Paris for afternoon tea. I think that the Cosette dress from Flossy by Freddy is the ideal dress for this occasion. Since this dress is no longer for sale on the website :(, Santinni also has beautiful dresses! Additionally, the Tallulah dress by Flossy is also perfect for the Ritz Paris and this one IS still available.

I am not sponsored by Flossy (manifesting I will be one day🤞🏼), I just really love the brand and this is exactly what I would wear in Paris 🥹
Shoes
For shoes, I would wear any of my white/beige Mary Jane’s from Charles and Keith because they are so comfortable to walk in and go with all of these outfits. I would also bring white ballerina flats just in case my feet need a little break and these also go with all my outfits.
Oh how I wish I was in Paris right now ☁️ walking around the Parisian streets in these outfits! This was not a full itinerary to Paris, so there is SO much left to see. However, all of these outfits would be perfect for any place in Paris.

Word is that strolling though Parisian streets can trigger a sense of calm and increase happiness levels (no really, we can’t argue with scientific studies – @paris.explore on instagram). Let’s buy some flights!
Watch me style some of the outfits I mentioned above!
