Hello! Welcome to my first issue! This is such a sweet moment because I have been talking about starting a fashion blog for years now. The time has finally arrived. I get complimented on my fashion sense everywhere I go, and I get so many messages from friends and family seeking fashion advice. I even get questions from strangers on the street asking where something I am wearing is from. It is my favorite thing to talk about, so let me talk about it!
This blog will hopefully help many women around the world find their style, feel good, and become the main character in their life. I do believe that when we look good, we feel good, and when we feel good, everything falls into place. The way you present yourself matters. Don’t disregard how you look because “no one will see me today” or “I’m just going to work, it’s not a fashion shoot.” You are seeing yourself every day and you are the most important person in your life, you need to look good for yourself. Plus, there is something I like to say, every day is a fashion shoot, no matter what.
I have many fashion influences in my life, and I will certainly speak about them in the coming posts. They are important because I have chosen what I love most about their individual fashion and combined it to create my own style that I love. Perhaps, I may help you find your new muse and style as well.
If you are gifted in many ways but unfortunately, fashion is not one of those ways, this blog is for you. I am going to style you for many different occasions such as brunch, weddings, garden parties, dates, the office, school (because sweatpants should never be seen in public unless it’s in the gym), and so many other events! I will also teach you how to dress for different countries when you are traveling and share with you how to build a timeless wardrobe that will never go out of style. Being timeless is essential and you can see why when I mention women such as Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly, Marilyn Monroe, Princess Diana, Jackie Kennedy and Coco Chanel. There is a reason why people still talk about them today.
You will never feel unprepared when you get an invitation for an outing ever again. You will also never look at your completely full closet and utter the horrible words “I have nothing to wear” ever again. We may have just met, but I want every single woman reading this to feel beautiful every single day.
To many, I am the girl who is always “overdressed.” But, as Oscar Wilde says in my favorite quote of all time, “you can never be overdressed or overeducated.”
